The Automotive Sales Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of the sales process for new and used vehicles. This includes setting sales targets, developing strategies to achieve them, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
The Automotive Sales Manager will be expected to:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Monitor and evaluate sales performance and make necessary adjustments to ensure targets are met.
- Provide training and coaching to sales staff to ensure they are up-to-date with product knowledge and sales techniques.
- Build relationships with customers and prospects to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Monitor market trends and competition to identify areas for improvement.
- Analyze customer feedback and use it to improve customer service and satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and other external partners.
- Participate in promotional activities to increase sales and brand awareness.
- Monitor inventory levels and order new stock as necessary.
- Prepare and present reports on sales performance and trends.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ automotive sales experience, excellent communication and organizational skills, and a strong customer service focus. Knowledge of current automotive sales trends and techniques is also essential.
