kansas Pain Management is Hiring an Accounts Payable Specialist Near Overland Park, KS
DESCRIPTION
We are looking for part time Accounts Payable Specialists to assist our Pain Management clinic and Ambulatory Surgery Center. Key duties and responsibilities of an Accounts Payable Specialist include:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Managing accounts payable using accounting software and other programs
- Handling accounts payable for separate entities and vendors
- Analyzing workflow processes
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with new and existing vendors
- Ensuring bills and payroll are paid in a timely and accurate manner while adhering to departmental procedures.
- Processing due invoices for payments
- Comparing purchase orders, prices, terms of payment and other charges
- Processing transactions and performing accounting duties such as account maintenance, recording entries and reconciling books of accounts
- Keeping track of all payments and expenditures, including payroll, purchase orders, invoices, statements, etc.
- Reconciling processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances
- Maintaining historical records
- Paying employees by verifying expense reports and preparing pay checks
- Paying vendors by scheduling pay checks and ensuring payment is received for outstanding credit; generally responding to all vendor enquiries regarding finance.
- Preparing analyses of accounts and producing monthly reports
- Continuing to improve the payment process.
REQUIREMENTS
An understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting skills is required.
Attention to detail and data entry skills.
A degree in the following subjects would be beneficial for an Accounts Payable career, although not required:
- Finance or Economics
- Business Studies
- Accounting
Ability to interact with employers and vendors daily, so it is imperative to always be able to interact in a professional manner.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.86 - $25.12 per hour
