Reporting to the Accounting Manager, this role completes payments and controls expenses by receiving, processing, verifying and reconciling invoices.

This role will administer all Accounts Payable responsibilities/functions for Dimensional Innovations other Dimensional Innovations companies. This role will absorb leadership duties for Accounts Payable. The Accounts Payable position is a fully on-site role with no remote possibilities.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES/FUNCTIONS may include but are not limited to:

• Receives and verifies vendor invoice; reconciles invoices and other financial reports with account balances and other office records
• Facilitates payment of vendors, which may include verification of federal ID numbers, reviewing purchase orders, and resolving discrepancies
• Ensures outstanding obligations are credited upon payment, identifies discount opportunities, and issues purchase order amendments or stop-payment orders as needed
• Assists with reconciling monthly statements and general ledger transactions as well as monthly closing by applying appropriate accounting standards
• Records entry of, verifies documentation for, and distributes petty cash
• Manages corporate credit card and reconciles each month
• Copies, files, and retrieves materials for accounts payable as needed
• Ensures the confidentiality and security of company’s financial information
• Performs other related duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software as well as other accounting software programs
• Ability to perform basic Excel spreadsheet functions and formulas
• Ability to operate related office equipment, such as computers, 10-key calculator, and copier
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to anticipate work needs and interact professionally with clients
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Accounting preferred
• 3 years of related experience preferred
