K & S Tire Recycling, Inc. is Hiring an Accounts Receivable Clerk Near Chicago, IL
- Prior experience in an accounts receivable position, including data entry and other miscellaneous clerical functions
- Must have exposure to accounting software/technology
- Ability to use enterprise-level financial record-keeping software systems, spreadsheets, and email applications
- Experience with QuickBooks (preferred, but not required)
- Competent with spreadsheets and databases
- Knowledge of basic accounting concepts
- Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
- Good planning and problem-solving skills, time management, ability to prioritize work and account for results
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must have the ability to communicate with internal staff and management on a wide range of issues
- Interact with customers and vendors in a professional and friendly manner
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and ability to meet multiple deadlines while completing a high volume of work
- Strong attention to detail
- Complete payments by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices
- Maintain customer accounts by reconciling monthly statements and responding to customer inquiries
- Account Collections
- Assist with providing support for external audits/reporting
- Reconcile processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances
- Maintain historical records of invoices, reports, receipts, and checks by saving documents properly on the network
- Assist other departments with customer service
- Perform other tasks & duties as required
