We are looking for an Accounts receivable Specialist to add to our billing team.

Ideal candidate should possess excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, understanding of health insurance and billing practices.

The AR Specialist is responsible for:

· Review and post insurance payments to patient accounts

· Works monthly AR reports to ensure all patient accounts are receiving insurance payments as per their policy

· Research and contact insurance companies to follow up on unpaid dates of service

· Research account discrepancies and past-due amounts

· Assists in month end processes including balancing, report generation and additional month end tasks

· Other duties as assigned

Prior billing experience is required. This is a work from home position with off-site training in the Chicagoland area.
