Jonah Energy is an oil and gas exploration and development company headquartered in Denver, Colorado and operating in the Jonah and Pinedale Fields in Sublette County, Wyoming. The Sr. Regulatory Accountant under minimal oversight is responsible for all federal requirements with the Office of Natural Resources Revenue (ONRR) of the U.S. Department of the Interior. The Senior Regulatory Accountant will prepare all internal and external documents and interact with various state and federal agencies; partners; member of the Revenue and Production team; and various other departments. This position reports and pays production taxes and royalties to the appropriate agencies. In addition, the role is responsible for calculating appropriate accruals to ensure financial statement accuracy and preparing applicable general ledger account reconciliations. This position prepares journal entries, account reconciliations and other Ad hoc on a monthly basis.
