Position:

We are currently looking to fill a Senior Account role that provides the opportunity for an ambitious candidate to quickly develop their skill set and career with a very talented and high-energy team, with room for advancement.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Reconcile, analyze, and review general ledger accounts in preparation for month end close to ensure accuracy and validity of accounting transactions including journal entries.
• Assist with managing the Revenue Coordinators and Invoicing processes.
• Preparation of monthly multi-state sales tax returns
• Preparation of annual multi-state property tax returns and monthly accruals
• Daily bank reconciliations
• Monthly rent payments and accounting
• Weekly posting of UPS payments
• 1099 processing
• WEX Fuel card management and payment posting.
• Processing the monthly vehicle leasing invoices
• Fixed assets
• Insurance accounting including accruals and monthly reconciliations.
• Balance Sheet account reconciliations
• Multi-state registrations
• Demonstrated ability to self-direct workload, prioritize projects (consistent with company goals) and make reasonable decisions with limited supervision.
• Must be able to accurately meet deadlines.

QUALIFICATIONS and/or EXPERIENCE:

• Four-year accounting or equivalent degree
• 2-4 years of experience using NetSuite ERP (ADP, Ariba, Oildex, Job Costing, etc.)
• Strong attention to detail, verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with field technicians, engineers, and managers.
• Ability and willingness to make quick decisions with little guidance, in high-paced work environment.
• Strong analytical and coordination capabilities; capable of effectively prioritizing and multitasking.
• Computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word and Excel, and on accounting software packages, NetSuite experience preferred.
