My client is a luxury residential construction company based out of Denver looking for their next Sr. Project Accountant! This Sr. Project Accountant position offers competitive benefits (including 401K and Profit Sharing), professional growth opportunities, and is paying $85K-$95K bonus!

The Sr. Project Accountant will be responsible for the following:

• Overseeing accounting functions, and acting as back-up to accounting staff when necessary
• Preparing and reconciling financial reports
• Cash flow management and the accounts receivable functions (billing, collections)
• Preparing, reconciling, and analyzing job schedules and work in process
• Generating internal financial schedules and reports to internal management, banks, and others as requested
• Preparing Regulatory filings, and assisting with schedules for income tax filing
• Assist in working with outside professionals including CPA firms, Banks, Income Tax Preparers, etc.

Requirements for the Sr. Project Accountant include:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance (Accounting Degree preferred)
• 5-7 years of full cycle job cost experience with an emphasis on Percentage of Completion (POC) and Work in Process (WIP) reporting
• Working knowledge of Sage ERP software (Sage300 preferred)
• Strong Excel skills with a focus on pivot tables, v lookups, and comfortability working with tables
• Strong working knowledge of GAAP, accrual basis accounting, and financial reporting
• Exposure to payroll is nice to have
• Willing to help out with duties outside of their formal job description
