Salary : $75,000 - $95,000 per year

A bit about us :

We are seeking a seasoned HR Generalist to join our thriving manufacturing organization. In this role, you will serve as a key player in the HR department, contributing to all areas of Human Resources practices and processes.

This includes talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, compensation, benefits administration, and labor law compliance.

As an HR Generalist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.

This position requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.

Job Details

Responsibilities :

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process to meet the company's short and long-term employment needs
  • Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital
  • Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization
  • Nurture a positive working environment by maintaining a high level of interaction with employees
  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance
  • Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management by enforcing applicable human resource federal and state requirements, conducting investigations, maintaining records, and representing the organization at hearings
  • Develop and administer employee benefit programs and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
  • Develop, revise, and recommend personnel policies and procedures
  • Maintain and update the employee handbook and policies on a regular basis

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field required
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in HR roles
  • Strong knowledge of labor law and HR best practices
  • Experience with talent acquisition, including planning and strategizing for talent needs
  • Experience with performance management and improvement systems
  • Proven experience with employee relations
  • HR certification such as SHRM-CP or PHR strongly preferred
  • Proficient understanding of HR policies and their implementation
  • Experience with benefits administration and compensation & benefits planning
  • Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
  • Excellent command of MS Office and HR software
