Job Description
  • Provide administrative support to the Director (calendar, creating meeting agendas and materials, and setting up forthcoming interviews to stand up the Branch).
  • Serve as central coordinator for Controlled Correspondence for the Office of Human Resources (OHR).
  • Additional data entry and administrative support as needed.
  • Receive important and sensitive documents from partners across OHR, the Department, and Agency, review them for completeness and editorial accuracy, and ensure deadlines are met. 
  • Review outgoing correspondence submitted for Executive signature to ensure editorial accuracy and completeness.
  • Conduct data entry and provide management, clerical, and administrative support, performing standard office procedures.
  • Provide end-user support and perform general administrative duties.
Job Requirements
  • Minimum of two (2) years administrative experience required.
  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills required, including excellent grammar and editorial skills.
  • Must be able to independently juggle multiple activities coming from a variety of people, working with leadership to get input in prioritization but keeping everything moving forward without requiring significant direction.
  • Must have strong attention to detail and great flexibility in responding to changing priorities.
  • Must have the highest standards of customer service and be able to maintain a professional working relationship with all members of the office.
  • Must have exceptional skills in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience supporting project efforts is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Federal HR terminology, operations, procedures, and requirements is preferred.
