Billing Specialist

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

• Enter and update billing accounts daily
• Calculate and track charges, such as shipping costs or filing fees, to include in invoices
• Perform any necessary administrative duties, such as remaining balance of retainer deposit
• Follow up on outstanding payments and keep a record of collected payments with client information
• Answer clients’ email or phone call regarding billing issues
• Receive and record the receipt of invoices for vendors
• Record and categorize expenses
• Manage vendor account and answer queries from suppliers, contractors, and other business departments about accounts payable or payments made
• Assist with preparing revenue, expense, and performance reports to be reviewed periodically

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or above in accounting or related field
• Fluency in Chinese Mandarin and English is required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Understanding of basic accounting math
• Strong attention to detail to keep accurate accounting entries
• Solid organizational skills to keep track of invoices
• Knowledge of data entry for record keeping, QuickBooks experience preferred
• General administrative skills, including managing emails and bookkeeping
• Demonstrated proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite and Google Workspace
