Reporting to: Corporate Controller

Responsibilities:

• Has a basic understanding of our company’s policies, procedures, products and services and capabilities to serve our customers.

Seeks assistance, as necessary with unfamiliar situations.

• Reviews and reconciles vendor invoices and reconciles with purchase order.

• Monitors discount opportunities.

• Monitor unvouchered reports to clear open receipts.

• Coordinate set up of new vendors.

• Reconciles vendor accounts against monthly statements and/or related transactions.

• Maintains a high level or confidentiality.

• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.

• Observe good housekeeping and safety habits, follow Jergens’ policies and procedures and perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school education is required.

• Through related experience and has demonstrated the skills and ability to be an effective accounts payable clerk with the

company.

• Has excellent communications and interpersonal skills to be able to interact effectively with other employees, vendors, and

other external contacts.

• Has excellent computer skills and is proficient with all related company systems and programs.

• Is analytical with an eye for detail.

• Self-starter and able to work with minimal management input.

• Has demonstrated sound judgment in dealing with difficult interpersonal situations.

• Effective time management skills in prioritizing and addressing multiple and at times conflicting demands.

• High level of personal and professional integrity.

• Is committed to the company’s values.
