Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented Accounts Payable to join our team. The Accounts Payable is responsible for the following:

Responsibilities:

• Resolve vendor inquiries regarding account statements, payment inquiries and any other items that may arise.
• Investigate, gather, and provide information on short payments, skipped payments and pricing issues.
• Process repayments, short payments, and make payment arrangements to answer vendor inquiries.
• Communicate with Management and Colleagues to arrange account resolutions and concerns.
• Protect the business against duplicate payments and rectify all differences and communicate directly with Vendors with professional Emails and phone calls.
• Assist in weekly and daily projects as needed.
• Excel experience is a must; most vendor statements are in this form mid-level experience is a plus.
• Address issues using EDI Processes and experience.
• Enter Debits on account using buyer and plant management information.
• Daily work with Outlook, Excel, Word documents and Internet based EDI systems.
• Research aging invoices and correcting the issues.
• Occasional entering and processing vendor invoices as needed.
• Back-up for the international department as needed.
• Dress is Business Casual with Friday being our Jeans and nice shirt day.

Must Haves:

• Minimum of 1 – 2 years of Accounts Payable Employment a must
• Mid-Level Excel knowledge a must
• Teamwork and Independent working conditions experience required.
• Professionalism and Proper knowledge of conducting business with vendors is expected.
