ICE is seeking a gifted problem solver to create class calendars and assign instructors. Your role is central to operations, as you ensure that chefs and students know where to be and when to be there. This is a great opportunity for someone who is mathematically inclined and loves to solve puzzles; proficiency with Word and Excel is required. Since the position involves frequent contact with many ICE team members, great people skills are a must. This position requires a high level operations/logistics skill set with the ability to wear many hats.
Specific responsibilities
· Develop annual master class calendar in coordination with admissions and other departments
· Maintain class calendars
· Make room assignments and adjust as required
· Assign faculty to classes based on instructor needs, availability, and curricula
· Maintain data for curricula, class schedules, instructors, and class capacities
· Respond to instructor substitution requests and confirm with substituting instructor
· Administer student evaluations of curricula, faculty and facilities
· Coordinate with various departments on maintaining inventory and ordering processes
· Support the Registrar and Office of Student Affairs as required
