Job Description:

Looking for honest, personable, knowledgeable professionals that are not job-hoppy and looking for a long-term opportunity. The Project Manager will be managing the overall project planning, direction, completion, and financial outcome on assigned projects. The majority of these are for educational and medical facilities. This position may oversee a single large project or multiple smaller projects. The Project Manager is responsible for project financials (accounting/ buy out), contract administration, change orders, procurement, submittals, schedule, and running meetings to ensure projects are completed safely, with quality, on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Project financial management and reporting using Procore
• Preconstruction planning and execution
• Setup logistics plan through coordination with Project Superintendent.
• Project scheduling development and updating
• Project Administration, Operations and Close-out
• Manage and coordinate company personnel and resources
• Prepare subcontracts, purchase orders and change orders
• Oversee cost control and change management systems
• Prepare, review, and approve monthly subcontractor pay applications to Owner
• Lead key project meetings on pre-construction, site orientation, safety, scheduling, subcontract coordination, Owner Architect coordination, and envelope detail review and mock-ups
• Post project client care and warranty work administration
• Provide regular updates to Projects Coordinator of project buy-out, safety, quality, schedule, and financial status

Minimum Requirements:

• Ethical and highly professional with excellent communication skills
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years in construction project management with a total of 5 years of experience in commercial construction

Plusses:

• Experience with Procore, ASTA or Primavera
• Experience on institutional, campus style education buildings and healthcare facilities.
• Experience with Agency for Health Care Administration (ACHA) inspections.

Work Environment

• This job operates in a professional office environment as well as in a construction work site environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment. Work may require weekend and evening work.

Travel

• The role requires willingness to work a flexible schedule and travel to various job site locations.
