Construction* Project Manager Site/Earthwork

We are actively seeking a ProjectManager Site/Earthwork in Pensacola Florida for a General Contractor. To coordinate operations and oversee workers at variousconstruction sites in Southwest Florida. The candidate should have a solid backgroundin the field. Extensive leadership skills and experience with the ability todirect the work of others and make quick decisions. Honesty, integrity, hardworking and dependableForeman/Superintendent. 

Superviseand coordinate activities of workers engaged in various construction projects.

 We are looking for PM’s that have general contractor projectmanagement experience. Commercial construction management. Also civil/ site andutility project managers. Site and utility meaning major excavation, FDOT work,underground utilities such as storm, water main, fire main, sewer, liftstations.

Responsibilities:

• Plan work schedules and assign duties to maintain adequate staff for effective performance of activities and response to fluctuating workloads.
• Collaborate with workers and managers to solve work-related problems.
• Review work throughout the work process and at completion to ensure that it has been performed properly.
• Transmit and explain work orders to laborers.
• Check specifications of materials loaded or unloaded against information contained in work orders.
• Inform designated employees or departments of items loaded or problems encountered.
• Evaluate employee performance and prepare performance appraisals.
• Perform the same work duties as those supervised or perform more difficult or skilled tasks or assist in their performance.
• Prepare and maintain work records and reports of information such as employee time and wages, daily receipts, or inspection results.

Requirements:

·Must be able to stand or walkfor long periods.

·Use arms and hands to reachfor, handle and manipulate objects.

·Lift and carry materialsweighing up to 50 pounds, climb up and down ladders, scaffolds, and other objects.

·Carry tools and equipment.

·Ability to read andinterpret blueprints, documents, instructions, and procedure manuals.

·Routine report writing.

·Effective communication skills vital.
