Administrative Assistant
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing a variety of clerical and general services to support the CEO and Special Projects Manager. Under the supervision of the Special Projects Manager, the Administrative Assistant will be responsible for coordinating a full range of moderate to complex clerical and general administrative support assistance for the successful project facilitation of a variety of activities, programs, and initiatives for Inland Behavioral and Health Services, Inc. Responsibilities may vary from one project to another when participating in various projects within the organization. This position is characterized by a high degree of confidentiality and independent action required in the performance of daily duties as directed by the CEO and Special Projects Manager.
RESONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Typical responsibilities and duties of the Administrative Assistant position include, but are not limited to:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Management, Business Management, or a related field. Working knowledge of office systems and ability to use a broader range of technology, systems, and software packages such as Microsoft Office. A successful candidate will have solid organization skills, including multitasking and time-management. Must have skills in exercising a high degree of initiative, judgment, discretion, and decision-making to achieve organization objectives.
Demonstrate strong communication skills, written and verbal, and actively work to build positive relationships with staff, patients, and other internal and external individuals.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bilingual in English/Spanish.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Must be able to read and understand the organization’s policies and procedures and those of regulatory agencies. Must be detail-oriented and able to multi-task in a busy and sometimes stressful work environment. Must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of professionals. Must feel comfortable interacting with the public. Must have computer and typing skills relevant to duties.
