University Enterprises Corporation at CSUSB ("UEC") supports the university's educational mission by providing quality services that complement the instructional program. The University depends upon UEC to provide services that cannot be supported with state funds. We're responsible for business enterprises on campus including, but not limited to, dining, bookstore, convenience store, and vending services. We also serve as the grantee for federal, state, and local funding for research and sponsored projects.
Position Summary
Temporary, Full Time Non-Exempt, Benefited position through June 30, 2024 (Appointment may be renewed annually based upon availability of funds, availability of work and satisfactory job performance).
Salary: $3,300.00-$3,600.00 per month
Location: San Bernardino, CA
Program Summary: The mission of ICDFR is to serve the needs of children and families in the local region through applied research, education, and service. Currently, our faculty oversee active funded partnerships with First 5, San Bernardino County Schools, SBC Foster Youth Services, SBC Homeless Youth Services, and the Department of Education. CSUSB is a Hispanic Serving Institution with approximately 80% first-generation college students. Work Schedule
40 hours per week. Schedule to be arranged, but typically, Monday-Friday from 8:00 am - 4:30PM. Some nights and weekends may be required.

Typical Activities
The Administrative Support Assistant (ASA) is responsible for the facilitation and execution of administrative activities and procedures of the central ICDFR office. Responsibilities range from fielding inquiries to performing various clerical tasks.
  • Answer telephones, take messages, and provide general and accurate information.
  • Manage centralized ICDFR calendar.
  • Perform general office duties, such as ordering supplies, maintaining records management, performing basic bookkeeping work, and running errands on campus and in the community.
  • Greet and direct visitors and/or prospective clients to the appropriate office.
  • Create and distribute correspondence relevant to the organization, project, or program.
  • Assist with administrative preparation and attend monthly ICDFR meetings.
  • File and retrieve documents, records, and reports.
Events
The Administrative Support Assistant is responsible for supporting ICDFR's mission and objectives by organizing and facilitating ICDFR sponsored and/or hosted events.
  • Assist Director/EDO in coordinating event dates and target audience.
  • Coordinate with the appropriate on-campus department(s) to schedule time and location, ensure proper layout of space, equipment.
  • Coordinate parking passes for off-campus attendees.
  • Arrange catering for hosted/sponsored events.
  • Direct student assistants and volunteers in checking in guests for hosted/sponsored events.
Webinar Support
The Administrative Support Assistant is responsible for supporting ICDFR's mission and objectives by coordinating and promoting ICDFR webinars.
  • Coordinate with EDO in obtaining content for social media platforms and scheduling dates for webinar series.
  • Correspond with keynote speaker to collect webinar information, provide templates, and obtain final PowerPoint.
  • Coordinate with faculty member(s) if extra credit is offered for ICDFR event/webinars.
  • Generate registration report for webinar event.
Additional Tasks
  • Represent ICDFR at community conferences, occasionally.
  • Attend weekly meetings with Director and central operations team.
  • Record and distribute meeting minutes.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: One-year general office experience
  • Other: Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications
  • Some college preferred.
