Independent Physicians Resource, Inc is Hiring a Director Of Human Resources Near Atlanta, GA

Job Description: This position reports directly to the Chief Talent Officer and provides human resources leadership and guidance for the company. This position has the primary responsibility of managing the company’s long-term strategic human resources management process to achieve company goals. This position requires superior verbal and written skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and computer literacy. Time management and attention to detail are a must. The ideal candidate will have the ability to adapt to changes in the work environment and maintain a high level of confidentiality. This position is based in Atlanta, GA.

Basic responsibilities include:

  • Collaborates with the Chief Talent Officer to create and implement the company’s long-term goals for human capital success.
  • Manages the Human Resources team and oversees the daily workflow of the department.
  • Provides leadership and guidance to the Human Resources team encompassing all areas of HR functionality including onboarding, performance management, total rewards, employee relations, employee engagement and communication, etc.
  • Manages the company’s human resource policies, procedures, and programs. Provides general supervision for company-wide activities of personnel administration, benefits administration, employee communications, and employee activities.
  • Researches, develops, implements, and educates on competitive compensation, benefits, and employee incentive programs.
  • Partners with the Legal team to ensure compliance with employment, benefits, insurance, safety, and other laws, regulations, and requirements.
  • Maintains knowledge and compliance of laws, regulations, and best practices in employment law, human resources, and talent management. Keeps corporate and legal counsel informed on all pending human resource matters, and lends necessary assistance.
  • Directs and maintains effective communications programs with all departments and employees to promote and sustain a high level of employee morale.
  • Partners with Payroll and Accounting departments to ensure employee records are accurate for all payroll and reporting processes.
  • Conducts investigations and makes recommendations based on findings by providing problem resolution through policies and procedures interpretation.
  • Analyzes data/metrics regarding turnover and compliance, identify needs or improvement opportunities, and partners with appropriate resources to provide solutions.
  • Participate in special projects or perform other duties as requested.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required
  • Masters degree in related field highly preferred
  • At least 5 years of progressive Human Resources experience across all competencies of HR
  • Experience with Paycom HRIS system preferred
  • Experience supporting multiple business units across a region or territory in a consultative capacity and the capacity to work across diverse client groups
  • Ability to work on own initiative with good organizational skills in a multi-tasking environment, Strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills are critical.
  • Strong analytical skills – proven success in using data to drive decisions
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with proven ability to juggle and reprioritize based on business demands and priorities
  • Critical understanding how HR contributes to overall business goals/strategies
  • Customer-focused, sincere, and passionate
  • Collaborative, disciplined, and focused
  • Possess a high standard of integrity

**Must be willing to travel occasionally, as needed**
