Responsibilities & Qualifications

Due to tremendous growth we are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team at our Corporate office in King of Prussia, PA on a full-time basis. The Accounts Payable Specialist reports to the Accounts Payable Manager. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Process a high volume of invoices daily
• Code invoices in accordance with the established chart of accounts.
• Review and process employee expense reports in Concur
• Support the month end process and team goals
• Collaborate with various departments internally and externally
• Manage invoices and identify discrepancies
• Reconcile stale checks and credits.
• Identify process improvements and initiate projects to optimize current accounting processes.
• Establish and maintain relationships with new and existing vendors.
• Have knowledge of approved vendors and policies to avoid paying unauthorized invoices and expenses
• Manage AP Mailbox and respond to requests in order of importance. Escalate issues in an appropriate manner
• Maintain organized filing system of open and paid vendor invoices
• Respond to vendors and field telephone/email requests within 24 hours
• Contribute to audit readiness by maintaining accessible documentation, and accurate records.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with field locations
• Support audit requests as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the finance department 

 QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable required
• Associates degree in an Accounting or business related field required
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or business realted field strongly preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent time management, prioritization, and management of multiple deliverables
• Experience with enterprise resource planning software (ERP) Oracle is a plus 
• Advanced MS Office and Excel skills with pivot tables, formulas, VLookups.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Adherence to policies, procedures and instructions of manager
• Ability to meet tight deadlines on days that are critical to the finance department
• Open to change and willing to learn new skills
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally
• Strong collaborative and partnering skills with the ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment
