Overview:
Join our team as a Barista at our bustling cafe where you will be crafting delicious beverages and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages such as coffee, tea, and specialty drinks
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Operate espresso machines and other equipment to make quality drinks
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including cleaning equipment and utensils
- Upsell items and provide product recommendations to customers
- Handle cash transactions and operate the POS system
- Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing any concerns or special requests
Requirements:
- Experience in the food industry or customer service preferred
- Proficiency in basic math for handling transactions
- Strong time management skills to handle peak hours effectively
- Knowledge of retail math for inventory management
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills to engage with patrons effectively
