Hypertec Group is Hiring a Remote HRIS Specialist

To keep up with our rapid growth, we are looking for an HRIS Specialist (6 month contract) to join our growing team, all while being a leading example of our company culture.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support and implement the configuration, maintenance, operation, and ongoing administration of the HRIS system (UKG), as well as its integration with other HR systems where possible;
  • Ensure the continuous improvement and harmonization of the HRIS system in relation to company’s programs, policies, and procedures;
  • Develop and maintain procedures and workflows for key HR processes and system transactions;
  • Lead the deployment of new processes and system modules;
  • Provide transactional support for HR processes to ensure critical deadlines are met;
  • Analyze system issues and provide system and process recommendations. Implement solution;
  • Partner with HR management team to configure analytics, prepare and deliver reports;
  • Act as a system/workflow expert and provide guidance to the team;
  • Work closely with internal teams to optimize system capability, simplify processes, and support users;
  • Support with data administration and complete data entry activity to ensure employee information is up to date and quality is maintained;
  • Perform audits to ensure compliance and integrity of HR data;
  • Support the Director of Payroll/Benefits/HRIS in understanding and analyzing organizational needs, while leading process and system improvement initiatives;
  • Participate in continuous learning to maintain SME-level knowledge.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

  • College degree in administration or related field is preferred;
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in administration or management of an HRIS system. Experience in HR systems implementation is an asset;
  • Experience with the UKG system is required;
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills, with the ability to analyze quantitative and qualitative data;
  • Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills;
  • Proven customer service skills;
  • Ability to prioritize assignments and provide quality results on schedule or even ahead of schedule;
  • Ability to adapt quickly to change;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Advanced MS Office skills are a strong asset, specifically in Excel and knowledge of BI
