Hyperfine is Hiring a Sales Training Specialist Near Chicago, IL

Position Summary:

The Sales Training Specialist will provide support for learning initiatives by bringing key skills in content development, learning management, and LMS platform management. Hyperfine is looking for an eLearning developer/ facilitator with design, development, and process expertise in Articulate 360, Allego, documentation control practices and more. The primary responsibilities of the Sales Training Specialist is to develop training for sales and technical teams to help them succeed in their job. This position will support content creation for multiple learning modalities (instructor-led, webinars, video, in person workshops, etc.), but will be primarily focused on online content creation. This role supports our Enablement Program as well as our customer training group. The successful candidate will have passion for storytelling, user experience, talent and development management.

Responsibilities:

  • Create, manage, and deliver engaging training across multiple mediums and multiple learning styles on time, on budget and align those programs with an overall learning outcomes strategy
  • Works closely with subject matter experts i.e. development team, products team, product marketing, sales operations etc. to leverage core content and build effective learning programs with clear and concise messaging.
  • Develops learning programs that include multiple modalities: self-paced e-learning, virtual and face to face workshops, and on the job learning activities.
  • Creates complimentary instructor lead training including exercises, role plays, simulations, and job aids as needed.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex learning projects simultaneously. Monitors activity, progress, and time related to project development using a project planning tool.
  • Works with a global task force from the respective audience to solicit feedback and ensure programs are relevant and on target. Arranges for pilot group testing of all new or updated courses.
  • Creates and maintains dashboards, presentation decks and course materials for curriculums by job role.
  • Designs and develops dynamic instructional interactions and simulations to create interactive, engaging course content, simulations for software, tools etc.
  • Design, develop and collaborate with marketing colleagues to develop training curriculum and materials to support new product/line extension launches. Once the launch is executed, will incorporate product launch training materials into new hire training curriculums for future new hire training sessions.
  • Develops an effective document management process for: organizing and retraining e-learning project related source files; scheduling periodic courses reviews for any updates needed; scheduling the expiration of training courses, if appropriate; tracking documentation and version control of all revisions and updates, etc
  • Ensures learning and performance objectives are appropriate to the audience and that the training materials meet the learning and performance objectives.
  • Experience creating, editing, synchronizing and/or recording both audio and video for elearning courses.
  • Monitors and reports effectiveness of all training conducted and revise courses as needed.
  • Performs quality assurance checks on training courses and evaluates training outcomes based on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Support and maintain the global knowledge base and repository for best practice documents, key tools and templates.
  • Use eLearning tools such as Articulate, Camtasia, etc to create SCORM compliant web based training deliverables
  • LMS management skills. Works with LMS vendor, IT or software vendor to resolve any technical issues with the web based training course or its performance within the LMS and integration with salesforce.

Knowledge & Skill:

  • Strong knowledge of Medical Device and/or Healthcare industry terminology
  • Ability to analyze, interpret, and decipher large volumes of content and translate into training documentation
  • Effective oral and written communication across various demographics
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to establish and nurture relationships cross-functionally
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities by fostering and maintaining a strong positive team culture
  • Ability to quickly gain the trust and confidence of the business leaders and employees
  • Proficient in Google and Microsoft Office Suites
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to effectively facilitate small group trainings

Education/Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5 years experience in a related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • 3 years experience in training design creating blended learning solutions both instructor-led and self-paced training
  • 2 years experience with instructional design
  • Experience managing sales training curriculums and sales training classes
  • Experience in Medical Device: Sales, Sales Training, Training & Education
  • Experience public speaking in front of large audiences (live and virtual)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience or background in process management for the training development lifecycle, from initial design through delivery and implementation (ADDIE model) 
  • Routing control documents (e.g., Agile, MedReview, Greenlight Guru)
  • Prior experience in sales, marketing or clinical is preferred
