Executive Summary : HRUCKUS is seeking three (3) Covid Clerks with 2-5 years of experience who can work on-site.

Position Details : This position will be on-site at 100% onsite at NYS Veteran Home at St. Albans 178-50 Linden Blvd Jamaica, NY 11434

Duties Description :

• Will perform the collection of patient samples for laboratory testing.
• Rotates through other support functions / greeter and performs other duties as assigned by the Site Lead to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality operations.
• Register clients at collection sites for COVID-19 specimen collection.
• Print labels to affix to the specimen collection container.
• Properly don and doff personal protection equipment (PPE) according to CDC guidelines and YNHHS policies.
• Always ensures staff safety, enforcing social distancing guidelines.
• Aid with collection site disinfection as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of clients who get specimens collected at the site.
• Always follow proper infection prevention procedures.
• Assists with restocking or ordering supplies as designated by the site lead.

Required Skills :

2-5 years of professional experience in administrative support.

Desired Skills :

Experience in healthcare support, ideally in nursing or rehabilitative care.

Other Notes :

• Please note that the employees would work on holidays only by request of the employer and would only be straight pay. Employees work overtime only at the employer's request and get paid at an overtime rate.
