Overview

Join our dynamic team as the Director of Operations at our prestigious hotel and be the driving force behind our success! We are seeking a passionate and results-driven leader who thrives in a fast-paced, guest-centric environment.

Director of Operations oversees Rooms and Food & Beverage departments and effectively handles guest needs and manages staff while keeping the hotel running smoothly. The position has active participation in the profit maximization, guest satisfaction, revenue and operational effectiveness. Analyze financial and operating information in order to achieve budgeted labor, supplies, materials and other cost standards. Possess strong working knowledge of all areas of the hotel, experience making critical decisions, with a proven track record of managing, motivating, and leading a full service hotel team.

Qualifications

· College level reasoning, computer, math, and language skills.

· Bachelor’s degree or 4 years department management experience in rooms division, food and beverage or related disciplines.

· Time management skills.

· Negotiation abilities.

· Multitasking skills.

· Ability to manage and lead each department independently.

· Ability to manage according to employment and Innkeeper laws of the jurisdiction.

· Ability to interpret financial and operational data into operational plan.

· Ability to train employees in alcohol intervention, food handling, and sanitation.

· Ability to communicate effectively with the public and other employees.

· Read, write and speak English fluently.
