JOB SUMMARY

The Coordinator I, Curriculum Inventory Coordinator, supports the management of instructional materials across the district. This position assists in the process of identifying instructional materials needs, supporting inventory processes, and collecting data on the use and impact of resources. The role involves direct collaboration with the textbook warehouse and campus textbook coordinators to ensure the effective distribution and utilization of textbooks and digital resources.

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in identifying instructional material needs in collaboration with curriculum leaders and campus textbook coordinators.
• Support the inventory management process, including coordination with the textbook warehouse to ensure accurate tracking and distribution of resources.
• Collect and analyze data on the use and impact of instructional materials to inform curriculum development and resource allocation.

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES CONTINUED

• Participate in the development of strategies to enhance the utilization of instructional materials and technology in teaching and learning
• Provide high-quality customer service to campuses, assisting them in accessing and effectively using instructional materials.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree

WORK EXPERIENCE

At least 3 years working in the district/central office of a large urban school district

LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES

No supervisory responsibilities. May provide occasional work guidance, technical advice, and training to staff.

WORK COMPLEXITY/INDEPENDENT JUDGMENT

Work involves the application of moderately complex procedures and tasks that are quite varied. Independent judgment is often required to select and apply the most appropriate of available resources. Ongoing supervision is provided on an "as needed" basis.

Compiles and organizes data and figures.

Decisions are made on both routine and non-routine matters with some latitude but are still subject to approval. Job is occasionally expected to recommend new solutions to problems and improve existing methods or generate new ideas.

Work is normally performed in a typical interior work environment which does not subject the employee to any hazardous or unpleasant elements.
