HealthFlex Home Health Services is Hiring a Human Resources (HR) Associate Near Oakland, CA

Description

The Human Resource (HR) Associate plays a crucial role in ensuring that new hires comply with all regulatory requirements before their start date, while also providing exceptional support to help them transition smoothly into the HeathFlex Family. This position is vital to creating a positive, welcoming, and organized experience for new hires. The HR Associate works closely with the HR, Talent Acquisition, Education, and Management Teams to ensure seamless processes and effective communication. By taking on this position, you will have the opportunity to demonstrate your organizational and customer service skills. As we continue to expand as an organization, this role will offer opportunities for growth and development. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Guides new hires through the pre-employment process and ensures timely completion of compliances prior to start dates to include but not limited to; references, background check, pre-employment health screening and license/education verification
  • Is the subject matter expert in HealthFlex’s new hire compliance requirements and explains them in a clear and concise manner
  • Is the super user of the HRIS systems onboarding functions 
  • Ensures that federal and state regulations are met
  • Ensures that new hires feel supported and welcomed during the onboarding process
  • Escalates non compliant new hires to the Talent Acquisition Manager 
  • Facilitates bi-weekly new employee orientation huddles 
  • Maintains accurate and timely update of records, files and databases
  • Participates in process improvement initiatives 
  • Independently prioritize and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes
  • Interacts professionally and effectively through verbal and written communication
  • Supports new employee orientation as needed
  • Complete other duties and project support as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field desired
  • Minimum of 1 year of recruitment or human resources experience required
  • Working knowledge of HR systems such as HRIS database and application tracking systems
  • Proficient computer skills 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
