Hazen and Sawyer, an engineering firm focused on all things water, seeks a positive, highly motivated, and creative marketing professional to work with a team of engineers, scientists, graphics professionals, and proposal development coordinators to develop best-in-class business proposals and presentations.

At Hazen, the Senior Proposal Coordinator works with technical staff to prepare concise, compelling, and compliant narratives and the associated interview presentations. They participate in strategy meetings, develop storyboards and layouts, distribute action items, write proposal sections, and monitor the completion of tasks. The Senior Proposal Coordinator works closely with our pursuit teams to deliver high-quality proposals to our clients to win competitive engineering opportunities.

The ideal candidate will be based in Hazen’s Northeast regional headquarters in New York City in a hybrid work environment and bring at least three years of experience in the AEC industry.

Candidates must have excellent writing skills, an eye for layout, and an ability to translate complex technical concepts into digestible formats for a wide range of audiences. A candidate is expected to have proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe InDesign.

Educational Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, Writing, or a related field (preferred).
