$17.90 - $20.34 PER HOURGENERAL PURPOSE:The purpose of this position is to maintain quality standards and product levels of all chef-prepared products in the kitchen. This person will be preparing and packaging salads, entrees, soups and hot case items, receiving and stocking product, and providing exceptional customer service.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Follows established departmental and store policies and proceduresEnsures the quality and freshness of all products and services the kitchen providesResponsible for maintaining the appropriate product assortment and inventory levels for the kitchenConfirms pricing accuracy and signage for all products, paying particular attention to ad itemsEnsures the kitchen is cleaned and sanitized daily and meets the company standards for appearanceDelivers excellent customer service to all customersPrepares all chef-prepared items in the kitchen including salads, entrees, soups, hot case items, etc. following Harmons’ recipesPrepares food for special orders and eventsReceiving and stocking of productTrains prep cooksAssists as needed to ensure the success of the kitchen as a wholeMARGINIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Performs other job-related duties as assigned.NATURE OF WORK CONTACTS:Consistent and daily interaction with store associatesConsistent and daily interaction with customersTRAINING & QUALIFICATIONS:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
