Gulfport Behavioral Health System, is a 90-bed psychiatric hospital offering child, adolescent, adult and military service behavioral health programs and treatment services.

Position Summary:

The Outpatient Program Manager (PHP/IOP) provides clinical supervision for Outpatient Services staff; develops and administers a comprehensive systems of outpatient services that respond to the community's needs and support the organization's overall mission, philosophy, and goals; to integrate the management of the outpatient system into the organization's continuum of care.
Qualifications:

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: Master’s degree or higher in a behavioral science or clinical related mental health field.

Experience: Supervisory experience preferred; Experience in inpatient and outpatient settings preferred. Possess general knowledge of all areas of psychiatric treatment.

Licensure: LCSW, LMSW or LPC license to practice in the State of Mississippi preferred.


Additional Requirements:
CPR certification and CPI certification within 90 days of hire. Effective written and oral communication skills; skills in clinical supervision and training; skills in interpreting and applying standards and regulations applicable to programs and services; public speaking or teaching/training skills desired; organizational, time management, problem-solving, crisis management, and team building skills necessary; skills in maintaining information as highly confidential; must demonstrate the ability to treat other age populations as needed; flexibility, creativity, and ability to manage stress necessary. Ability to clearly summarize pertinent clinical information via written correspondence and medical records documentation.
