Position Summary:

The Staff Accountant is responsible for the daily cash monitoring, and overall closing process including general accounting reconciliations, data processing preparation, and financial reporting for the facility in accordance with all facility and corporate policies and procedures. This position ensures that the internal controls are monitored monthly to safeguard the facility’s assets and that the systems generates accurate and timely financial reports. This position is also responsible for all the payroll and timekeeping functions within the organization.

Education: High school graduation. Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Experience: A minimum of three (3) years in accounting, preferably in a health-care setting, with experience in managing multiple functions. Experience in payroll highly desirable.

Additional Requirements: Thorough knowledge of computers, with experience utilizing health-care based computer systems and commonly accepted business software applications programs, particularly EXCEL, Word, and KRONOS.
