Guided Security is Hiring an Outside Sales Representative Near Austin, TX

As an Outside Sales Representative at Guided Security, you'll be more than just a salesperson – you'll be the face of our company, spreading our passion for technology and dedication to exceptional service.

You will be the frontline of our company's growth, responsible for expanding our client base and increasing revenue through the sales of our diverse services. This role requires a proactive, dynamic individual who excels in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on generating new business and building lasting relationships with clients.

This is an hourly part time position with commissions paid on sales driven from your interactions with potential clients. This is perfect for someone looking to make some extra money on the side.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategies to identify and target potential clients in various sectors, including residential, commercial, and industrial markets.
  • Conduct site visits and assessments to understand client needs and propose customized solutions that align with Guided Security's services.
  • Present and sell company products and services to current and potential clients, ensuring a thorough understanding of our offerings' value propositions.
  • Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and project the number of contacts to be made.
  • Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activities, networking, and marketing efforts.
  • Prepare presentations, proposals, and sales contracts, maintaining accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities including sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up activities.
  • Manage account services through quality checks and other follow-up activities to ensure client satisfaction and service delivery according to company standards.
  • Participate in marketing events, trade shows, and company events to promote Guided Security's services.
  • Work closely with the installation and service teams to ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Stay informed of new products, services, and other general information of interest to clients, incorporating this knowledge into your sales strategy.

Qualifications:

  • Proven outside sales experience, preferably in the security systems, IT services, or related technology fields.
  • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to persuade and influence others.
  • Ability to work independently and self-manage priorities and schedules.
  • Proficiency in using Google Workspace and CRM software.
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and a clean driving record.
  • Willingness to travel within the designated territory.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $10.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 20 per week
