Goodwill Easterseals Miami Valley is Hiring a HR Manager Near Dayton, OH

The HR manager should have 3-5 year's experience managing an established HR team in the day to today HR responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies. Reports directly to the Director of Human Resources who oversees recruiting, employee relations, DEI, health and wellness and employee benefits. Responsibilities: Handles performance reviews, full desk HR responsibilities.Establishes a strong partnership with employees across several division and their trust.Ensure policies and procedures are met, maintained and kept consistent.Generate and implement new ideas.Identify retention issues and mediate as necessary.Perform audit and compliance reporting,FMLA oversightBe a true servant leader to the employee’s and company.Other duties as assigned.Oversees employee relations activities and employee engagement.Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and innovative technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field required.Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS and talent management systems.
