PGA TOUR Superstore is an exciting, fast-paced and high energy environment, and supports the operations of 50 retail locations across the U.S. We are seeking a qualified candidate to fulfill the role of Field Marketing Manager (based in Texas). Position Summary The Field Marketing Manager, reports directly to the National Manager of Field Marketing. This role is responsible for overseeing and support consistency in marketing standards and execution throughout assigned territory. The position utilizes strong business acumen and retail knowledge to formulate goals, develop objectives, and improve merchandising processes. In addition, this leader will build strong relationship of support and collaboration with their assigned District Manager and the General Manager’s within their territory. Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities: Responsible for 8-10 retail locations minimum. Communicates and implements the company's marketing brand and media strategy in assigned regions to assist in achieving sales, profitability and traffic goals. Identify local store initiatives based on trade area data to supplement the system wide media plans and develop local store marketing calendars to support system wide media plans Evaluate all Local Partnerships Media Value as applicable Ensures marketing resources are applied effectively and efficiently to maximize individual store or district performance. Takes a leadership role in the marketing planning for new store openings in assigned territory in partnership with Store Operations, Brand Marketing including Local Media and Event planning Conduct regular in-market visits with store leadership to discuss recent and upcoming marketing initiatives; provide guidance and feedback as needed and to ensure quality and consistency with marketing calendar and plans. (requires approximately 50% travel) Create Opportunity and Competitive store specific plans to improve performance of stores in assigned territory as needed Responsible for developing and driving the local marketing strategy for assigned territory in addition to coordinating and executing various elements of national campaigns with Brand Media Lead Weekly visits to stores within driving distance, quarterly to remote location. Travel schedule will be provided. Communicates weekly with the National Field Marketing Manager and acts as a communication conduit by providing key marketing leadership with feedback received from operations partners. Communicates regularly and conducts weekly reviews with Regional Managers/District Managers – highlighting performance areas of opportunity and needs of their assigned territories. Communicate with brand marketing team on communication issues (bulletins), marketing opportunities and media planning. Responds to request for feedback, information or other marketing needs within 24 hours or in a timely manner. Ability to balance multiple projects across stores in territory. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree . Five years of experience in multi-unit Field Marketing or Advertising Agency with local media planning and account services experience. Passion for Golf and Tennis is highly desired. Strong listening and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and communicate in both written and verbal form with conviction and credibility, adapting message to suit level of audience. Must have ability to influence decision making using consumer and business insight to drive results. Field Marketing Manager role must be able to accommodate a retail schedule (flexible, including nights, weekends, and holidays), and must be willing and able to travel for business including overnight travel.
