Job Description

The Field Marketing Manager will be the linchpin between Brand Marketing, Operations, and Sales. Your primary focus is to seamlessly connect the brand with current and prospective customers across various touchpoints in the sales cycle through diverse marketing communication channels by developing innovative marketing strategies with meticulous execution.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Ground Game Management:

  • Oversee critical elements of the "ground game" at the operations and customer engagement levels.
  • Lead the execution of branch and regional marketing, events, and channel support activities to acquire new accounts and engage existing customers.

Multifaceted Marketing Programs:

  • Plan and develop comprehensive marketing programs, including direct marketing, collateral, community outreach, print, and other promotional initiatives.
  • Ensure that marketing operational plans are meticulously aligned with overarching business objectives.
  • Contribute to the development of functional strategies.

Campaign Deployment and Analysis:

  • Deploy and meticulously measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
  • Track market trends, analyze campaign results, and derive actionable insights to enhance marketing strategies and tactics.

Primary Support for Sales Organizations:

  • Collaborate with sales leaders to plan, execute, and measure relevant sales activities, events, trade shows, and customer-facing campaigns.
  • Offer recommendations to maintain consistency in messaging and materials across the sales team.
  • Assist in go-to-market planning for key accounts and markets.
  • Extend the brand identity and voice to all customer communications.

Trade Show Strategy Development and Implementation

  • Research, review, and recommend suitable trade shows aligned with the company's growth objectives.
  • Develop an annual trade show calendar in collaboration with key stakeholders.
  • Oversee the entire trade show process, from selection and contract initiation to post-event analysis and leads assignment.
  • Create a comprehensive trade show playbook, emphasizing key decision-making and critical execution paths.
  • Report and analyze spending and ROI for the trade show strategy.

New Branch Strategy Development and Execution:

  • Create and execute a process for pre-opening preparation, soft and hard openings.
  • Plan and support open house activities with solutions, materials, and playbooks.
  • Coordinate sales blitz campaigns with sales leaders and branch teams.
  • Provide a turn-key solution playbook for branch-led execution of customer open house events.
  • Report and analyze spending and ROI for the new branch strategy.

Acquisition Support:

  • Develop and execute plans for brand conversion at new locations.
  • Oversee the domain migration process from the seller's website to the buyer's site.
  • Ensure the delivery and local execution of branded materials and team member apparel.
  • Communicate access points for ordering materials and digital downloads.

General Support:

  • Contribute to the development of collateral initiatives, both in print and digital.
  • Liaise with functional and operations departments to support various programs, campaigns, and other business development activities.
  • Execute special projects as assigned.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or construction-related field preferred.
  • Minimum of (5) five years of marketing experience, preferably in the manufacturing or construction industry.
