Job Overview:
We are seeking a Customer Service Representative with experience in Hazmat (DOT, IMDG and IATA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be extremely knowledgeable in OTR, Ocean (port) and International transportation, possess excellent communication skills (oral and written), and have a passion for providing exceptional customer service. This person must be detail oriented and accurate, work with a sense of urgency and possess the ability to prioritize and make great decisions under stress and hard deadlines.

Duties:
- Communicate with customers via phone, email, and chat to provide information about products or services
- Assist customers with orders, inquiries, and issue resolution
- Perform data entry to update customer records accurately
- Provide timely follow up with customers and co-workers
- Process all necessary HAZMAT documents and handle all issues to a positive and compliant outcome.

-Provide transportation quotes, process orders for OTR, Ocean consolidations to Hawaii, or International transportation. Must be accurate, timely, communicate, meet profit margins, provide excellent service.

-Maintain up to date billing for all services.

- This candidate must be a team player and work well within their team and with other departments; follow all company, state, federal , and safety laws; have excellent attendance, be self motivated, and desire to achieve the highest standard of excellence as a csr professional.

Qualifications:
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers, co-workers, and vendors
- Ability to analyze customer needs and provide appropriate solutions
- Prior experience in transportation: HAZMAT, OTR, OCEAN and INTERNATIONAL is required
-Proficient in data entry and professional in all forms of communication
