Genesis Consulting is seeking a motivated, ambitious,hardworking, and resourceful SAP Project Manager to lead an SAP ECC to S/4HANA migrationfor a State and Local SAP client. This client is currently utilizing anenvironment composed of ERP Central Component implemented with on premiseservers running a “Suite On HANA” configuration. Within this environment, areFICO (Financials and Controlling), Grants Management, Payroll, HCM (HumanCapital Management), ESS/MSS (Employee/Manager Self Service), SRM (SupplierRelationship Management), PM (Plant Maintenance), SAP BW (Business Warehouse),SAP BOBJ (Business Objects), and SAP PO (Process Orchestration).

Duties andResponsibilities:

The SAP S/4HANAProject Manager will manage the project schedule and costs, oversee stakeholderscope, manage delivery teams, and coordinate and maintain several engagementsfor strategic consulting services among multiple workstreams. Other duties andresponsibilities include but may not be limited to: 

• Manage reporting and resolution of issues, risks,and dependencies, proactively identifying potential planning gaps, implementingmitigations to risks, and driving actions to close issues
• Provide project leadership to include ability todiscuss and champion the business case for change to a business audience, andactively participate and execute high value business solutions
• Lead program planning and deployment, budgetmanagement, scope management, risk management, operations transformation,systems integration, and software development
• Evaluate, plan for, and drive organizational change
• Assist in managing the approach, tools andprocesses that will be used to support business transition events
• Maintain and coordinate project tasks, Jira upkeepand entries
• Coordination and management of multiple workstreamsrequiring project initiation, planning, organization, execution, control,closure, problem solving, account management and project documentation.
• Manage relationships with project stakeholders, includinginternal and external clients, keeping stakeholders informed of progress, risksand issues in order to manage expectations on all project requirements anddeliverables.
• Manage and communicate a clear vision of theproject’s objectives, and motivate the project team to achieve them; create aproject environment that enables peak performance by team members.
• Ensure proper use of SAP Agile Activate methodology,tools and procedures
• Ensure proper governance is in place to best meetproject objectives and that this governance is operating effectively.
• Provide oversight over the end-to-end SAPengagement where required. Bring together silos and ensure overall deliveryaccountability exists
• Management of remote resources in a global deliveryand distributed organization
• Provide a weekly status report consisting of itemsrequested by the client
• Provide a monthly status report consisting ofroutine and special difficulties encountered, and a detailed listing of allwork performed by task in electronic format and hardcopy
• Support the PMO Risk/Issue/Opportunity ManagementPlan (RIOMP)
• Include any and all Risks, Issues, andOpportunities identified in the weekly status reports

Requirements

MinimumQualifications/Experience:

• 5 years of experiencemanaging S/4HANA migrations, new G/L migrations preferably through S/4HANAHybrid and Brownfield migrations
• Public Sector experiencepreferred
• Extensive knowledge of SAP Activate and Agile required
• Demonstrated expertisein creating and maintaining project deliverables such as, project charter,project management plan, status reports, project timesheets, communicationsplan, budget and schedule
• Experience with datamigration tools including Data Migration Cockpit including staging tables anddirect transfer, SAP Data Services, SAP SLT, CPI, HANA Smart Data AccessIntegration or other ETL tools for data extraction, cleansing, transformation,and integration to S4. Experience in successfully planning, scheduling, andexecuting data migration projects
• Experience with settingup data driven organizations, performing a leadership role in BusinessIntelligence, Analytics and Data Warehouse projects
• Proven experience inMaster Data Management. Good understanding of business related corporate and orfinancial planning, forecasting, budgeting functions and activities
• Excellent understandingof SAP functional process areas and related data structures in ECC and S/4HANA
• Proficient understandingof SAP solutions and of the consulting business processes and functions
• Analytical thinking andproblem solving
• Experience withAtlassian tool suite including Jira and Confluence
• Good interpersonal andcommunication skills
• Experience in governingboth waterfall as well as Agile/DevOps project lifecycles
• Experience in ProjectChange Management/Requirement tracking, etc.
• Experience in ProjectFinancials (Budgets/Forecasting/Labor Claiming)
