To provide continuance support within the Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority (BARDA), COVID-19 Incident Management Teams (IMT). Supports medical countermeasure development within the office of the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response (ASPR) at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) located in Washington, DC.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Developing strategies for improving program operations, implementations and evaluations.
• Researching complex ongoing and projected programmatic activities.
• Reviewing information, reconciling conflicting data, and devising new and modified methods to analyze findings.
• Advising management of unique conditions and issues which affect program activities and providing guidance on interpretation and implementation of new and revised legislation, policies, regulations, and procedures.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in a relevant field
• 4 years of experience with contracts management and or management operations.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, with non-technical and technical staff
• Detail-oriented and possess strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and projects
• Experience advising and reporting to senior leadership
• Possession of excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Highly motivated, independent, self-starter
• Experience working with multidisciplinary teams
• Well-rounded, flexible, and energetic
• Ability to obtain a security clearance
