Furniture Mart USA is Hiring a Sales Manager Near Minneapolis, MN
Are you an experienced sales professional looking to grow your career? We are looking for high-performing, motivated individuals to join our sales leadership team within the Minneapolis-Metro area! As a leader within our company, you will use your sales and leadership abilities to provide coaching and direction while leading a team of sales professionals in a dynamic industry. Our sales leaders have a diverse and challenging role as they drive sales & profitability; provide exemplary guest service, maintain merchandising/presentation and operational standards; recruit, develop sales associates and team members. This position has the potential to make over $100,000 per year!
- Understand a retail sales environment with increasing levels of responsibility and strong working knowledge of general retail practices and procedures
- Proven experience with sales strategies/programs planning to closing
- High degree in customer relationship
- Demonstrated ability to effectively lead, coach and train others
- Ability to communicate with tact and diplomacy using written and verbal skills
- Flexibility to work a retail schedule
- Computer proficiency including MS Office products
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Supervisory/management experience in a retail sales environment
- Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field
- 5 years’ experience in a retail sales environment
- Previous management experience preferred
- Experience with ERP systems preferred
- Understanding of retail pricing and profitability preferred
