We are currently seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Regional Sales Manager to join our dynamic sales team and play a pivotal role in our growth and market expansion.

Job Summary:

As the Regional Sales Manager at FundView Software, you will be instrumental in driving sales growth and expanding our market presence within the assigned territory. In this key role, you will be responsible for formulating and executing strategic sales plans, developing new business opportunities, and fostering strong customer relationships. Your focus will be on achieving sales targets and contributing to the overall success of our organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets and expand market share within the assigned region.
  • Identify and qualify new sales leads through various channels, including networking, cold calling, in person visits, marketing campaigns, trade show attendance and referrals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and stakeholders in local governments.
  • Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to current and prospective customers, highlighting the features, benefits, and value proposition of FundView Software.
  • Collaborate with marketing efforts to develop effective sales collateral, presentations, and proposals tailored to the needs of each prospective customer.
  • Manage the sales cycle including lead generation, qualification, presentation, negotiation and closing deals.
  • Monitor, evaluate, and develop opportunities within the existing customer base to add additional solutions or features not currently provided.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts, reports, and market intelligence to the Director of Sales regularly.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, the competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to identify new business opportunities and areas for growth.
  • Lead business development efforts to identify and establish strategic partnerships, distribution channels, and collaboration opportunities to drive revenue growth.
  • Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and other relevant events to represent FundView Software and promote our solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including customer support, product development, and implementation teams, to ensure successful customer onboarding and satisfaction.

Qualifications:

Required

  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to articulate complex software concepts clearly.
  • Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers, prospects, and internal stakeholders.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working in the public sector, specifically municipalities and local governments, is highly desirable.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of software processes in the public sector.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned region as needed.
