Our core teams in NYC, DC, LA, and SF are joined by a growing network of directors, editors, composers, designers, journalists, developers and more all around the world. Together, we’re building the kind of company we all want to work for: curious, thoughtful and ambitious.
About the Role - as written by the CEO:
You will position yourself to have high visibility into all incoming meeting requests, emails, tasks, etc., then meet with me regularly to figure out what I’m going to do when, what I can delegate, and what I should (or simply have to) decline.
This will be challenging. At any given time, there are far more requests than I can realistically fulfill and I don’t like to admit it. Moreover, there will be a large number of these requests that sit in a prioritization gray zone — they could be high priority but they might not be, and we’ll need to keep them “on deck” for a bit while we figure out where they sit relative to everything else.
These questions however — questions of prioritization — give us an opportunity to think together at the highest level about the business and its needs, which means you’ll get an up close look at how our business works and what is required to make it work. My first job was as the Executive Assistant to the President of Focus Features and I loved it for exactly that reason — I want to create the same experience for you.
Ultimately we’ll know if we’re succeeding when everyone that is expecting something from me either gets it or gets clear communication from us about it. The job is both as simple and as hard as that.

What You’ll Get Out Of This Opportunity:
That’s it! Degrees don’t matter. Experience doesn’t matter. If you’ve got those qualities, you’ve got what it takes.
An ideal candidate would be excited to fill this position for 2-3 years before transitioning into another role in the company — we’re a rapidly growing startup with big ambitions, and I want this to serve as an on-ramp for someone as ambitious as we are.
This is a Remote (work from home) position.
