POSITION OVERVIEW

The Social Content Manager, will be at the forefront of our digital presence, creating captivating narratives that connect our brand with our audience across social media platforms. In this role, the Manager be the driving force behind our social content strategy, crafting stories that resonate, engage, and inspire action.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:

  • Seamlessly integrate captivating content into marketing initiatives, ensuring cohesive messaging that amplifies the impact of campaigns
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop a comprehensive social media content strategy that aligns with the brand's objectives
  • Craft captivating content, encompassing written, visual, and multimedia elements that spark interest and drive audience interaction
  • Execute a robust social media content strategy that adapts content to resonate harmoniously with our target audience, propelling our brand's aspirations forward
  • Develop and execute a robust social media content strategy, tailoring content to resonate with our target audience and advancing our brand goals
  • Collaborate with design teams to ensure content aligns with our visual identity, creating a cohesive and impactful digital presence
  • Utilize data analytics to evaluate content performance, making informed decisions to optimize engagement and reach
  • Provide editorial, creative, and technical support to team members, fostering a culture of high-quality content
  • Temporary or permanent duties and responsibilities may be added to or modified as deemed necessary

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions. Must be at least 21 years of age.

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Journalism, or equivalent work experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in social media management, content creation, digital marketing, or related roles
  • Demonstrated track record of developing and executing successful social media content strategies
  • In-depth understanding of social media best practices, trends, and platform algorithms
  • Experience developing and posting content on all social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter (X), Instagram, TikTok and YouTube
  • Working knowledge of the existing social platforms, underscored by a forward-looking focus on emerging trends and platforms of the future
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Proficient in Sprout Social, various social media listening tools and other management dashboards
  • Social media community management experience in a luxury hospitality setting preferred 
  • Polished communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to provide a luxury guest experience with every interaction
  • Experience with content creation across various formats, including text, images, videos, and graphics
  • Ability to craft engaging and compelling narratives across different tones and styles 
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment 
  • Demonstrates strong organizational skills and follow through
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of attention to detail
  • Working knowledge of excel and pulling data to provide proper reporting to C-suite and Senior Leadership

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Member must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state, and local regulations.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in English may also be required.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
