What are we seeking in a social media producer?

The Social Media Producer will serve as the backbone in creating and shaping RUBYKISS’s content across all social media channels – most notably Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts. You will be working alongside other departments to create a steady flow of visual stories that are on brand with RUBYKISS’s voice and aesthetic. The ideal candidate will have varied interests in storytelling. You’ll wear a lot of different hats, being responsible for writing copy, editing images, voice narration/audio recording, and serve as our on-camera model to create short-form content across all social media platforms – which includes sourcing, scheduling, and publishing daily posts.

Responsibilities

• Ensure daily production of content across all RUBYKISS social media accounts including Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts
• Ability to ideate, develop, and execute on social media strategies to grow RUBYKISS’s audience and reputation across all social media channels
• Schedule daily posts across social media platforms and manage the social media calendar
• Schedule daily marketing email and text blasts
• Research, conceptualize and pitch engaging content ideas that are designed to be digested and shared in a world consumed by social media
• Work alongside sales teams to both coordinate and execute complementary social media stories 
• Lead and coordinate giveaway opportunities with like-minded brands in the space to help grow RUBYKISS’s subscribers and social media followers
• Develop and maintain the RUBYKISS social media communication style guide
• Work along sales team to pitch and execute branded social media content
• Serve as our on-camera model across all channels, specifically short-form video platforms Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts
• Serve as boots on the ground social media reporter for live events

Requirements

• Minimum 1-2 years of professional experience managing social media platforms
• Experience in creating engaging, short-form content across social media platforms including Instagram, TikTok and/or YouTube Shorts
• Must possess an eye for great design, and ability to translate our brands, products, and services through compelling video story telling
• Excellent grammar skills with a diverse vocabulary, proficient at spelling, and ability to write killer copy
• Must possess a strong, creative mindset with the ability to research, conceptualize, pitch, and execute short-form content ideas
• The ability to perform in-depth research on anything sexual wellness related with a strong attention to detail
• Must meet deadlines and have strong prioritization & time management skills
• Loves working in a team environment, but is also comfortable working autonomously
• Experience multitasking and tracking several projects simultaneously
• Has a great attitude and an appreciation for sexual wellness products
• Basic photography skills, video production/editing are required
• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Film, Communication, or related field of study is preferred

Schedule

• Monday – Friday 
• 8:30am – 4:30pm
• 40 hours
