At Five Star Breaktime Solutions, the Service Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the maintenance activities within an organization. This role involves developing and implementing maintenance policies and procedures, managing a team of maintenance technicians, ensuring equipment and facilities are properly maintained, and minimizing downtime through effective preventive maintenance programs.

Service Maintenance responsibilities include:

• Develop and implement maintenance policies and procedures to ensure efficient operation of equipment and facilities.
• Plan and schedule maintenance activities, including preventive maintenance, routine inspections, and repairs, to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
• Manage a team of maintenance technicians, providing leadership, guidance, and training as needed.
• Assign tasks and responsibilities to maintenance staff, ensuring work is completed in a timely and efficient manner.
• Coordinate with other departments, such as production, engineering, and procurement, to prioritize maintenance activities and support overall business objectives.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment maintenance logs, and inventory of spare parts and supplies.
• Monitor equipment performance and identify opportunities for improvement or optimization.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols, conducting regular safety inspections and implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Develop and manage maintenance budgets, monitoring expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment; performs job safely and engages in job duties to ensure the safety of the company-owned vehicle.
• Collaborate with management to develop long-term maintenance strategies and plans to support business growth and sustainability.
• Establishes a good rapport with service location employees to ensure customer satisfaction through verbal communication and providing good service.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience working with refrigeration systems
• Prior experience working with machines and electrical maintenance with the purpose of repair/installs

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; trade school degree preferred
• Must be able to lift 50lbs ; on a repetitive basis and have the ability to reach, bend, stoop on a frequent basis. Frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds
• Service Technicians are required to be at least 21 years old (DOT) and have a valid driver's license.
• Must be able to consent to an initial drug screen.
• Must be able to consent to a pre-employment background check.
• Must be able to consent to and have the ability to obtain and maintain DOT medical card.
• Ability to drive a company box truck vehicle or other assigned company vehicles
• Ability to work in all weather conditions (ex. heat, cold, rain, and/or snow)

Position Information:

• Status: Full-Time
• Work Days: Monday -Friday (7:00am to 5:00pm)
• Pay: $63-$68k (yearly)
