About the role:
In a Professional Services Project Manager Specialist role, you’ll use best-in-breed Project Management tools to help us deliver implementations and other client-facing projects at the enterprise level.

What you will be doing:

Implementing enterprise level software solutions for clients.

Working on Core software replacement projects for our clients.

Leading the delivery across a multi-functional project team consisting of application consultants and technical consultants.

Collaborating with client-side project team, sales, client relationship teams, technology solutions, service delivery, product development, and/or other cross-functional teams.

Potentially strategizing, directing and driving the work of the overall program including the work of other project managers.

Managing and aligning client expectations to the solution strategy and FIS delivery plans.

Managing project risk and assisting with problem resolution.

Serving as liaison between technical and non-technical teams.

What you will need:

A seasoned Professional Services Implementations Project Manager with a minimum of 7-10 years of recent experience working with client-facing projects.

Recent experience leading client-facing professional services implementations projects greater than 1 million dollars in contract value. 

Extensive knowledge of project management standards, processes, procedures and guidelines as well as various IT project methodologies and life cycles.

Understand both Agile and Waterfall as you will use a blend of the two.

Excellent Advanced skills with project management software.

Prerequisite to understand forecasting and financials.

A minimum of 5 years of client facing experience in the Financial Industry

A bachelor’s in computer science, management information systems or business administration or the equivalent experience

Excellent presenting skills

Forward thinking

Adaptability to work with and in different cultures.

Flexibility to work in different time zones.

PMP (Project Management Professional) certification

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $123,810.00 - $207,980.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
