Position Description
The Utilities Project Manager is responsible for the adjustment of all utilities that are impacted by the Project. This position focuses on the field utility relocation activities for dry utilities such as telecom, fiber, and electrical.
Responsibilities
Responsible for the management of dry utility relocation coordination, ensuring that the utility adjustment process meets the requirements of the Design, Build, and Finance Agreement
*Ensure that utility conflicts are resolved as mutually agreed by all parties, and avoiding conflict with construction activities and the Project Schedule
*Attend and lead utility coordination meetings.
*Serve as a liaison between Utility Owners, utility relocation coordination consultants, and the Georgia Department of Transportation.
*Establish, coordinate, and update the utilities design schedules and sequence of utilities work schedules.
*Manage utility coordination with Utility Owners, production of the Utility Assemblies, and utility adjustment construction.
*Produce written reports on the status of all elements of the utility adjustment process.
*Coordinate with other disciplines (e.g. Project controls, design, construction, public relations, financial services, environmental) to ensure the necessary level and degree of integration with those units and the Utility Adjustment Work.
