Business Development Associate

Leaderboard is seeking passionate, talented business development professionals to be cultivated into significant contributors to our company and to the future of the branding industry.

This role requires you to be local to the Charlotte, NC area.

Overview of the Role :

The Business Development Associate is driving force to the Leaderboard business whose key areas of responsibilities are as follows :

• Identifying new contacts to add to Leaderboard's customer / potential customer database
• Maintenance and upkeep of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Tools
• Telephone and electronic outreach (cold calling) to prospects and potential clients
• Contribute to the creation of proposals and statements of work
• Support Leaderboard client teams on project related tasks and deliverables

Ideal Candidate :

• Comfortable with all forms of prospective outreach (telephone cold calling, email and LinkedIn, etc.)
• Enjoys working within a growing organization which we describe as exciting, fast paced and team first
• Strong presentation skills (written and communications)
• Self-starter and accountable
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Innovative and inquisitive to learn new things and explore new products / ideas

Requested Background and Experience :

• 2 years of professional experience required. Branding / Advertising experience a big plus.
• Bachelor's Degree required
• Experience with CRM tools, especially Hubspot, a plus, but not require
