We’re seeking a future team member for the role of VP; Business Development Associate to join our Wealth Solutions team. This role is located in Charlotte, NC – Hybrid.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: 

• Partner closely with sales team in managing inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Assist in qualifying new opportunities based on lead generations.
• Coordinate with various business lines across the BNY Mellon organization to develop sales presentations and proposals.
• Prepare and distribute sales related documents and reports ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Partner as a liaison between sales team and other internal stakeholders to facilitate communication and streamline processes.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: 

• Be an entrepreneurial self-starter; have an ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively within a high performing team structure.
• Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Advanced/graduate degree preferred.
• 3-5 years of total work experience preferred. Previous experience in a sales support role in finance or related field.
• Series 7 and 63, or ability to obtain within 6 months.
