Federal Reserve Bank of New York is Hiring a Remote Technology Group - Administrative Assistant

What we do: Technology Group / Oversight and Business Operations (OBO): OBO provides business support services that contribute to the overall mission and objectives of Technology Group. The selected candidate will join the OBO-Business Engagement Team as an Analyst to complete projects and providing support to senior Technology Leaders. The Candidate will report to Steven Cheng. Your role as an Administrative Assistant: Focuses on supporting individuals, small teams, or departments (vs. the entire office) including editing, proofing, formatting, and production. Provides data entry and paper/electronic document filing/archiving, scheduling/coordinating meetings, and travel arrangements; receives/relays telephone messages from internal and external sources. Specific administrative responsibilities (i.e. manage multiple calendars includes creating and updating meetings and events and assist customers in prioritizing their daily schedules. Excellent interpersonal and diplomatic skills with the ability to work well with all levels of staff, Bank and System-level senior management, and senior domestic and foreign officials from both the public and private sectors. Ability to work with minimum supervision and guidance, excellent prioritization and organizational and skills. Provide back-up support to other admins within TG at own initiative or as requested, perform other ad-hoc duties assignments and projects, as necessary. What we are looking for: Exceptional with coordinating multiple Outlook calendars and can schedule a high-volume of internal and external meetings; and follow through to resolve day-to-day administrative matters. Must be a self-starter, with excellent prioritization and organizational skills. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple assignments; and meet deadlines. Excellent judgment and discretion in handling sensitive data and confidential information Ability to adapt to new assignments and apply best practices to refine and improve work processes and procedures. Excellent interpersonal and diplomatic skills with the ability to work well with all levels of staff, Bank and System-level senior management, and senior domestic and foreign officials from both the public and private sectors. Exceptional ability to work in a team environment and provide back up support to the Group’s Administrative support services team.
