Role Responsibilities:

Support the Investor Services Manager and Assistant Manager as required to carry out the teams tasks.

Serve as a point of contact for queries from investors or their representatives regarding accounting, tax, and other investor related matters.

Work closely with internal groups to compile responses to investors requests.

Maintain internal trackers and databases to keep Investor Services Team organized.

Review and post documents to H.I.G.s web-based Investor Portal, including capital calls, distribution notices, financial statements, and other investor communications.

Participate in the analysis of investment performance.

Support the Capital Formation Department in connection with fundraising activities and LP inquiries.

Process investor subscription documentation, checking for reasonableness and completeness, and entering appropriate information into Investran Client Relationship Management system.

Assist the Tax Department with maintenance of tax forms and inquiries for Limited Partners.

Participate in the design and execution of special projects, including automation efforts, quality control testing, and changes to standard reports.

Requirements & Qualifications:

Recent college graduate from a four year undergraduate university, Accounting/Finance majors preferred with a minimum GPA of 3.5. Marketing/English majors will also be considered

2-4 years of accounting/finance and client interaction experience.

Prior private equity, hedge fund or other alternative investment experience is preferred.

Prior client interaction in a corporate, publicly traded environment or at an administrator will also be considered.

Professional individual with strong written and oral communication skills and an energetic attitude.

Responsive, friendly, professional, and proactive communication approach.

Ability to prioritize several tasks at a time and meet tight deadlines.

Ability to interact directly with sophisticated investors and senior management.

Strong analytical skills and strict attention to detail.

Ability to quickly learn new concepts and thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment.

Ability to read and understand financial statements.

Strong spreadsheet skills.
